Are the courts ordering an assessment done prior to your court date for a pending OWI charge? Do you need an assessment completed as part of your driver’s license restoration as required by the state of Michigan?

Here at Mariposa we are equipped to provide assessments required by the courts or state to address pending OWI charges as well as apply to get your license reinstated. You may not know what to expect, and that is okay! We want to make this process as short and simple as possible.

If you have a lawyer and/or probation agent we ask that you bring that information with you to your appointment. We will have you sign a Release of Information so that we can share the completed assessment with them.

We also ask that you bring:

• a history of any treatment you have completed in the past

• information regarding any AA/NA meetings you have attended

• any criminal history you may have with dates of charges

• a current list of prescribed medication

The substance abuse evaluation cost begins with a $75 non-refundable deposit due at the time of scheduling the appointment. At the appointment the remaining $200 will be due, plus a $15 fee for the NEEDS assessment. You will receive the finalized paperwork within 2-4 business days after your one-hour appointment with one of our qualified therapists.
